Whilst we are Hitachi specialists we have many years experience of specialist machinery and can service & repair many makes including Volvo and Caterpillar.

Plant Tech Services UK Ltd is operated by Ian Appleton and Jim Brown, we are both time served engineers with main dealer experience at Hitachi, Volvo and Caterpillar. We work on all machinery brands, but are Hitachi product specialists and carry TEXA software for diagnostics.
- Servicing/Diagnostics on all plant equipment, specialising in Hitachi machinery
- F91 twelve-monthly inspections carried out
- Hydraulic oil monitoring & system cleaning with Kleenoil kidney machine (deep cellulose cleaning down to one micron - removes 99.95% of water)
- Pin and bushing replacement service - thirty-ton and fifty-ton press tooling capability
- Air conditioning repairs, leak detection & re-charging with new refrigerant
- Hydraulic cylinder repairs
- Engine, transmission, electrical & hydraulic systems troubleshooting
- Accumulator charging for ride control, brake & hydraulic accumulators
- Brake testing & report using Simret brake tester
